Hey, everyone! We know you're all busy, so we just wanted to remind you that if you see something on the internet that sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Remember: technology is making it easier and easier for people to spread misinformation and make it look like it came from a real source. Be careful when you're reading online articles or social media posts—and always check the source!
If you're like us, you've probably seen a lot of misinformation about the future of technology. We know we don't have to tell you that it's important to take a close look at what we're hearing, and to be wary of things that sound too good to be true.
We've put together a quick list of things to watch out for when it comes to tech—and how to tell if something is real or fake:
-Be aware of buzzwords in headlines (like "revolutionary," "groundbreaking," etc.)
-Check the source(s) of the information. If there's only one source, look into it more before taking action based on what they say.
